The University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), Golden Dream Ghana Limited. and LiuGong Machinery Company Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate to train students in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on heavy-duty/earthmoving and construction machines to provide the needed human capital to support the mining, technology, and related industries in Ghana and West Africa. Courses in heavy-duty/earthmoving and construction machines will therefore be embedded in the Mechanical Engineering Programme at the University.
